i did that on my tundra, i grounded out the fog, bent out the prong put a connector on to the end, I used solid copper wire 16gag or 14gag and jumped to the high beam relay at the top side. Highly recommend to keep a spare relay for inspections. It’s illegal in PA for high beams and fogs on. But in the winter months dark at 5. And I drive 45-50 mins home on country roads. And yes you need all the light you can. Don’t want take Bambi or momma home, but daddy I rather take home in daylight not nighttime. And you really don’t want to take any member of the Cubby home.

So the fogs ONLY work with high beams?

No, they work both, just won’t have parking lights and fogs if you wanted to run them. Everything else works and works with auto high beam. Basically it’s bypass

here’s a pic this was done one my 2019 and 2020. No issues D2E73904-58C9-4525-9A1F-CCA6D99EB63F.jpg

Tundra's Headlight Relays are not even close to what the 3rd Gen Tacoma have. More like the 2nd Gen Tacoma.:burp:

Sorry a bit late to the conversation.
    Does this work???
Is the relay neutral/ground dependent? (the ECU control the relay by using the neutral?)

No fogs without selecting TAILS/PARKING circuit.

The 2nd gen you did the "fog mod" by adding a power circuit to the relay.
Can the 3rd gen fog mod be done by adding a neutral circuit to the relay?

Not really. The fog relay coil (-) goes to the Main Body ECU, which prevents the fogs being ON before the TAILS lights, and cuts the ground of the switch when High Beams are selected. And the fuse to the relay is always hot and runs to the relay coil and main feed.
You could open the fuse box and cut the coil hot feed to a IGN (Battery Charger relay coil, if installed) circuit and jump the beige (ground) to the blues witch wire.

I was thinking about adding a (+) circuit, and running the (-) ground to the chassis to control the relay. Only issue I can see is that I won't be able to control the fogs with the factory switch. I can just grab the power from my Auxbeam Switch panel and use that to control my fogs.
All I would be doing is taking control of the fog relay, no cutting of any wires.

Anyone see any issue with this method?

You would need to accomplish that from below the relay. Opening the engine fuse/relay box. Removing the terminal(+) to the coil (and tapping it up) and adding another terminal from the auxbeam switch input. Then doing the same to the coil ground.

Or removing the relay and adding some jumpers to the required circuits like you did when you had the 2nd Gen.:D

No pics? How did you secure the relay from flopping around, double side tape?

Sorry I did it like in the picture you posted. Just tucked the relay in and tucked the wires. Nothing special. Ran out of light so maybe tomorrow I can get pictures.

    Thanks for all the information!

I wish I could do this mod! I love my baja designs sport fogs, but I don't trust myself to cut into wires! I wish there was an easier way to be able to have my fog lights on with my highbeams

IGN source (INJ) at engine bay fuse/relay box. (Add-a-fuse)
Intercept harness (C11) to tie into combination switch (light stalk) one wire.
    Relay "jumper'd" Toku58 way.

I'm actually using the INJ to power my AuxBeam switch pod. :)
