    Hello all!

    After some pretty thorough research and urging by friends and relatives (mostly guys), I started looking at used pickups. I soon found myself at a Toyota dealership placing a deposit down on a brand new Tacoma, or Toycoma as I have been calling it. Who needs to inherit the woes of former truck owners?

    I wanted a 2 dr w/access cab & 4x4, but full cab is what was available and coming in. I can live with that. :) It is on the way, due in around my 65th birthday, Feb 1!

    I joined this forum to gain a better understanding of the vehicle and what people are doing with regard to most common accessories and that kind of stuff. I looks forward to reading all your posts!

    Waiting for my Toycoma, or Tacos as I see them being called. I plan on purchasing a 10' yak for lake and calm river fishing. The tailgate extenders seem very appealing to me as opposed to racks. I also would like to haul 8-10' boards for projects I have planned. I saw this one on

    I picked up my Taco today! Meet Honey Do!
    I know she is a pretty basic SR5 compared to many of your builds, but I think she's quite pretty. I also made a stop to pickup my Vibe Yellow Fin 100 angler yak!
