Ive installed 4 of them already… I don’t need advice, I need the kit itself.

It’s a $130 kit. You can’t expect but so much.

I have a set sitting in my garage but I haven't decided if i want to save money and just use them or spend money and do the JD fab LCA pivots.... I know the latter would be the best option, but money is tight and I already have bent tabs.

Mine were toasted. Even with the tabs welded. Plus my LCA I am pretty sure we’re tweaked as well

IMO, the MC kit is pretty well designed for its intended purpose. Most people will never wheel hard enough to damage a truck with a properly installed MC kit and be able to drive away. It’s kind of a bitch to install though.

Obviously, the JD relocation kit is the pinnacle as far as design and strength goes but with that comes more time & cost. So if you’re not appealed to the JD kit for another reason, I.E the additional caster for bigger tires, then the MC kit isn’t a horrible second option.

That said, make sure you are confident in your decision because once you hot glue gun the MC kit on it’s not coming back off without significant amounts of work.

I'm pulling 12" of travel but I tubbed the crap out of my forward inner fender area and cut out the factory bump stop to run 2" stroke hydros. I have BFG 37s (so 36s), and I can probably run a true 38" tire without moving the battery or tubbing the firewall. Group 35 battery. I could get that travel number to 12.75" by dropping the diff 1" but that's not worth it to me. The RCVs bind with ~1/2" of shock shaft remaining so I strapped it 1/4" above that. I guess 934s would also get me that extra bit of travel. From ride height I have 7" of uptravel and 5" of downtravel, which I've found to be a good balance for rocks and desert. I talked with Jessie a few times before I went with RCLT. I really liked their subframe/LCA mount kit but was told that it wouldn't work on my 4th gen. I just posted a GoPro video on my IG ripping from JV to Cougar Buttes leaving KOH last weekend. It shows the front end putting in the work. I'm amazed with how fun whoops are now compared to my BS stock+ Icon ext travel setup I ran for years. I hammered the truck for 4 days straight at KOH, on the rocks and over whoops, and it drove straight on the highway afterward.

@81Trekker ... any cool photos of my truck?

Im so stoked to be getting the LCA Pivots, upright gussets, heim steering, and the +4" LT installed down at the JD Shop.

Gears and E locker install at the end of February.
and as soon as I get it back and dial in the front ADV Fiberglass fit and paint, Ill be scheduling a rear SUA install at JD.

**Anyone wanna buy Camburg Billet UCAs and Fox Ext travel DSC's?
