DV8 makes some heavy ass bumpers. Had one for a whole month. 180lbs without a winch or lights. Didn't like it lol.

 

This hybrid is only about 80lbs w/o winch or light bar. It is super strong and heavy duty but I need to find a way to make it more solid.

wow i would just junk that thing... it looks like its more of a push guard style thing and not a real bumper...

 

Fora little more than the price of that DV8 you could've got a Coastal Front and it'd be wayyyy more stout and be a full plate bumper. ($653 before tax and shipping)

That seems like a really poor design.... If it did that, how long before one day you're getting pulled out and your front bumper gets lodged in the rescue vehicle....

 

Well I originally just wanted to overland it and not really get in the shit…buuuuuut now that I’ve seen the off-roading capabilities of this thing…even without lockers…I’m starting to change course. I mainly wanted a simple winch mount and a couple recovery points up front. Now I’m leaning towards a more robust front with a forward facing fairlead instead of the 45 degree downward facing on this one. And I didn’t pay near what ET is charging for that so I couldn’t justify the extra $500 when building. Well here we are!! This bumper would be great for the mall parking lot. Not so much for KRocks/Tuttle/Disney.
