Sorry to hear that man. I would think gofundme might be the best option for that; but others might be able to chime in on medical related platforms. Whatever you decide share it here, dementia is shitty and I hope it doesnt progress.

    Thanks y’all. It’s sucks ass.

I don’t think I’d be able to share anything here because of TW rules.

looking into all those options today. I think a bank account I run will be the best route if I can figure out how to make it easy for people to donate to.

a gofundme would be easy if there is a target goal and you want to open it to the public and let them see how close to the goal it is.

if not, you could setup a cashapp or venmo for people to donate to.

I don’t think we have a “goal” because we are only like 3 days into this and haven’t even figured out our next steps. My sisters and I just keep having folks reach out wanting to donate and we don’t have anything for that right now

What torque wrench is that? Has that round head like the Effetto Mariposa, but I didn't think they made digital?

Interested to hear your thoughts on the short cranks after you get some mileage in. I read that same PinkBike article and have been really considering swapping to some lighter and shorter cranks. My pedals would really appreciate the extra clearance!

@jjones.yota check out caring bridge. A buddy of mine broke his neck in a bike accident, quadriplegic now, and his wife started a page on caring bridge. It was good way to provide updates and a central place to collect any support from family and friends. Seem to have worked well from my perspective as a friend at least.

Sorry to hear about your mom, that can be real tough.

I did some research on torque wrenches and decided on ACDelco, this is the torque wrench. Keep an eye out and find it on sale.

Hey man, really sorry to hear about your mother. Praying for all of you!

Consider GiveSendGo for donations, as well. They're a liberty-focused Christian organization that has stepped up many times to help out good families and causes when the corporatists running GoFundMe shut various fundraising efforts down for political reasons. Just something to consider, but obviously not a priority.

Great site I've used them a few times to donate. @jjones.yota Sorry to hear brother. Don't know anything about that but I'm sure getting her on a bike and pedaling could only be good!
