I need to snap pics of their wonderful improv job when they installed garage door openers.

Oh, no they hung drywall for the ceiling then realized they didn't have enough clearance for the track. Haphazardly cut the drywall on one bay to fit the track and then just ripped the other bay out by hand.

This might not fall completely under home improvement, but it was nasty and needed to be done. Figured I'd share as it's really gross

The more we ran the shower the more a brown ooze started dropping off the wall in the shower area. Well I know what the slightly off smell in the house was when we first looked at it. I have nothing against smokers, but DAMN!

    Cleaned off

Tried to capture some of the gunk that flowed when I sprayed on the degreaser (look on top of the trim)...

And I went even further and took down the fan cover... :puke:

Forgot to snap a picture after I scrubbed it, but here's the outside. I thought it was an almond/bisque color. Nope, white

Didn't do the ceiling, just don't have it in me today. It'll get a coat of original Kilz oil base primer before paint...

Little ol' church going lady loved to smoke in the bathroom apparently

Yea I'm pressing the easy button on the ceiling. The Kilz oil base original knocks out just about everything besides tannin bleeding that requires a shellac primer. I've had much success with it.

Ironically looking at her obituary she kinda looks exactly like that. I won't share for privacy of the family, but almost spot on. She was a character from what I understand

Just wear a welding helmet, gloves, and a thick scarf. What can go wrong?

Got my first quote to re-tint the entire house. Single story, nothing overly complicated. $3100! :facepalm:Got some other quotes coming later this week and next.

I've also been looking a pavers or small boulders to divide my property line from the renters next door that don't bother to make an effort on anything. However, everything I liked was on a 10 week back order or out of stock. Going to try a few more locations later this week.

Also picked up some minwax red mahogany stain and helmsman clear satin sealer to redo my side gate. I had to go to 2 different Home Depot's and 2 Lowes to gather up the materials. :annoyed:

I hope the supply chains pick up soon.

The tint I have is about 10 years old and not doing much for UV protection let alone privacy. I'm going to have it all re done before summer hits here in AZ. :bananadead:
