Does anyone know if the TRD sport, TRD off road and SR5 4x4 all share the same skid plates or no?

Correct me if I am wrong, however there is no underbody difference upon the different models? except for of course 2x4 or 4x4, and the offroad having the tow hook. They should all be the same flimsy ol skids.

    More like a splash guard.

I thought I read the Sport has a front air dam that must be removed in order to put it on, but they’re all the same.

Every Sport comes with the so-called front skid installed.

You would need to remove or butcher the front air dam if you were installing a TRD Pro skid, or OR tow hook.

no, the Offroad has a gas tank skid plate. The sport fuel tank straps are not threaded for a skid plate. You need to buy the offroad fuel tank straps.

    Work in progress...
After seeing where Tacoma Dad has gone with the so called "splash guard" I believe the stock "splash" guard, with the assistance of the two mounting braces that is comes with, offers some fairly decent protection. I went with the TRD Pro type of skid for some better protection but the stock "splash" guard is way stronger than you would think.
