Fack.... There are many things. Anything you're looking for in particular?

    You have food at home

    I also support tagging @McRib

You have food at.... Well, you live in the middle of nowhere, so maybe not.

Seen SoS bumpers do that. That style only bolts at the bottom and not through straight to the frame, unfortunately.

@RCI-Offroad makes a helluva great front bumper :D

No they don't... You just abused yours.

the only time i remember a huge issue was a dude wanted no fog light holes or something on his bumper and they ended up putting them in and he was unhappy about it

sadly thou the customer service now has gone down the shitter and is no longer good and the prices are now higher with cost and shipping to be close to other companies so its not as good as when i was with the group

The winch plate on that slimline bumper looks like it has good bones so you could go full tube or even a hybrid style. Might hit up Kris at Okee Built Fabrication or Hard Knoxx offroad to recoup some money. I personally don't like bumper mount recovery points that don't have direct ties to the frame weather its welded into the winch plate or separate. I'd recommend using the welded tow loop on the frame itself for recovery.

I wish but between the engine I am rebuilding (fyi you can infact bore the 1GR-FE engine), the upcoming ball and chain ceremony, and a baby coming in July, I'm too broke to go break stuff. Already turning into a boring adult. Next I'll be on the progressive become-your-parents commercials

tbh it looks really thin prob best to just get something else from another company like rci or someone if he wants a slimline again

C4 has some killer minimalist bumpers (if you don't want the bombproof rock hard awesome RCI bumper)

It didn’t bend. The mounting holes are slotted so you can adjust the mounting location. Great for looks and universal applications but horrible design for actual use. The winch plate probably held more than it was rated for without issue and really impressed me. And I’m sure I can make the bumper work but it was a piss poor design from DV8

Does the winch plate attach to more than just the 6 frame studs on the front? Toyota really didn't engineer these tabs well and I almost ripped the whole tab/stud combo off when winching a ram out of KS Rocks. added frame stiffeners and tied the bumper into the radiator support on the bottom which really increased it's strength. Thing didnt even break loose after messing up a silverado.

meh I saw how some of these tube bumpers with a winch plate can look and i'm honestly going to try to emulate that when i rebuild/tuck the nose on my 08. gotta get the engine back in that truck first.

his does not it bolts to the side and allows it to slide forward its meant for looks thats it, those studs are also rather weak and most when wheeling hard or using a lot of winch pulls will cut those off and weld in new kits that are stronger to reinforce that front end that will usually fix the issue then add frame stiffeners and its pretty much solid
i wouldnt want to use that thing for anything other then looks lol but most bumpers these days for tacomas are all the same just with a little different style to em

Just the 6 studs. Ideally I’d gusset the winch plate to the frame horns.

Looking at the website the winch plate itself mounts to the 6 main studs, which is i agree a poor design. The gen 1 ARB i just picked up for the red truck surprised me with how much R&D ARB put into these, as it ties below the rad support as well as behind the first crumple zone with stiffener plates. I agree using the winch plate as is is a poor design but for a custom build wouldn't be bad base to start from and improve. Look at what Dirt Lifestyle did with the existing winch plate from his existing bumper. Nice tight design almost made me like 3rd gen noses.

Also, I almost bit the bullet and bought your bumper as I was worried about deer but that ARB was a steal.
