    Years ago we were driving on the cross Bronx Expwy…. a buzz bomb, dude rocket, hatch blaster (neon green running board lights and all) came weaving through traffic at about warp 50. Slammed me into the wall, both mirrors gone, all body panels smashed and the starboard rims mangleated. At a buck twenty five, I never caught up to get a plate. Pulled into the barracks just before the CT line.


    The cop just laughed.
