live valve shocks? who is making those? atm im running my fox extended and im liking them but i really need to get different springs to remove all my preload in them...

i'm considering roo bars. If the truck was a beater rig, I'd just do steel fenders that tie into the sliders. kinda like these.

That looks really cool I like the hidden aspect of it.

the engine patrick built lasted the longest but still only made it 4 months before a cooling channel and cyl 4 decided they wanted to mix. Rebuilt it myself after that and had the head decked to true but i torqued to toyota spec, not to toyota forum spec which is 15-25lb over torque due to head bolts passing through oil channels. pretty sure over the 1.5hr burping, 45min drive home, and then the last 8 mins of life trying to move it before I left my last apartment the torque loosened and the head lifted blowing out the gasket and losing all compression. still turns over like there isnt a head attached lol.

I wanted one so bad then crunched a corner in on a baby pine tree at work and that was that.

Roo bars FTW. had a hybrid bumper made by Okee Built Fab and hit a 150-170lb deer at 70mph broke two tabs on my passenger headlight from the shock but everything stayed in place.

My 2008 is gonna look somewhat like this. not quite full beater flat fender as this but the crunchy taco is definitely in my inspiration book.

 

yup thats kinda what i want these days is something simple and nothing wild and crazy plus i really liked the slimline i had and how it looked on the truck

hell the rear bumper might stay or it might go when i get rear glass one day but that will be for future me to decide if i want it still by then

Yeah, I'd like a nice flatbed similar to those, but 10K+ isn't tangible for the average Joe.
