getting the bolts out of the stock ucas and into the new ones. its miserable. people say to cut the head of the bolt and install the new one the opposite way but just putting it in is extremely hard. i had my brother help me guide the bolt in and push some harnesses around. having a friend helps big time.

Another cheap Amazon add to my Taco lol a neoprene armrest cover to remedy the cheap plastic that Toyota slathered all over the interior. Who knows how long it'll hold because stretching that thing to fit snugly was a minor chore. There is a leather option but it's more expensive and looks tackier imho. The neoprene is pretty comfortable I will admit...

Ship it and I bet you’d still be under what a taco cost there.

Mandatory new tire picture (Toyo Open Country A/T 3), with the black lug nuts my nephews gave me for Christmas. Third choice on tires - backlogged 2 months on the first choice, discontinued on the second. Even these took a couple of weeks to get.

Trying on these matte carbon fiber mirror caps from Tacoma lifestyle. Fitment and quality is great. Not sure how I feel about them on though?

I have a set and I feel the same way. They are also super easy for someone to steal and you lose your mirror caps at the same time.

Great choice. I'm planning on those or Yokohama MT's for my next set. :mudding:

I dig em, but I prefer gloss carbon fiber on MGM. :notsure:

Waiting for parts I went ahead and did a couple small aesthetic things. So far: Tactillian American Flag Magnets, Tacoma Beast Seqential turn signals, AJT designs chrome delete, Amazon badge blackout, AJT designs key fob with OEM touch up color match. Small but fun after work project and you get to take apart the dash which is fun :bananadance:

    Yeah
Oil catch can to fix the smoking / stalling / no restart issue when off-roading on high angle slopes.

I'd be interested in the 6000K lights but didn't see a separate listing on the website. I have the kit with red on the way but am still undecided on the color.

I bought what RRW called "the long bed version". They had no distinction between DC or AC.
Well, they were made for the DC; so there were two places that I had to cut a slot in, for it to go around the cab mount supports. Most of the bolt holes lined up very well, but I had to locate the slider a bit rearward to get them to line up (you'll see the front is 1" from the wheelwell and the rear is 1" in the well). I also drilled and added two bolts per side, but just for my peace of mind.
The close-up photos are with factory tires. I have since gone to 255/85R16 and they clear the sliders just fine. The sliders cost me $624.00 delivered and took about 14 days to show up, back in 2018.

Old photos I had on-hand. I'm not near the truck this week, so can't get other photos. Next week though if you want any others.

Rear (chop-able, I just need access to a welder to patch it afterwards)

An easy mod to allow it to fit around a cab mount.

For us, shipping a vehicle would be free but I don't want to drive what I feel is a full size truck around a tiny island. I'd rather have a bike.

Hmm, I think it would look better if that wasn't the only part of the truck with that treatment. Maybe wrap the hood and/or roof, or do the whole truck like that?
