Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I never looked for them made them hunt for me. In the sporting Goods Gun Department.

Though after being left there the first few times I was used to walking the 6 miles home back then it was fun woods and fields all sorts of friendly Dogs .

Now most of it would be through an Industrial Park better then a housing development

Antenna balls usually came in bright colors, in the north they were used to see cars behind snow banks.

Even better so you could find the car at the newfangled shopping center instead of wondering around for hours.

Board Games with no electronics that might last for weeks.

I remember when I could buy five pieces for a penny. (caveat is: that I was overseas and the exchange rate was very much in favor of the U.S. dollar. and that it was 1963.)

Last week I bought a wee tub of Bazooka gum for my bride and it cost me $0.07 a piece. ($16.00 for 225 count tub)

Remember the rumor that if you threw a Fizzie to a Seagull (and he swallowed it, like they did everything!) it would explode his stomach?
Apparently, the reason was that they couldn't burp. (I never confirmed the rumor.)

They were good - and affordable.
A sub was $1.50, and with nachos ($1) and a soda ($0.75 ??) you could have lunch for less than $3.50. And for two people actually if you split the sub & shared the rest.
Used to do that with my brand new bride when I was making a whooping $7/hr at Rocky Mountain Airways in 1982.
