Need some help if possible. Some idiot kid opened car door while I was pulling into parking spot. Peeled off the fender flare and added this nice little crease. I have all the parts to fix and repair but need help with the crease as my deductible wont be met and Im sure they didn't have insurance. Any help would be great to get the Taco back perfect. I am willing to pay some cash to get the crease fixed but I don't see it costing that much?

I don't think that would cost more than $100 to have that dent pulled, and I feel like that is high. Pull into a body shop and ask them.

Do you care about the paint under the flare?

I am not worried about paint under the flare as long is it isn't chipped.

That's a small-ish dent that shouldn't be difficult or take long. Just pop your fender back on after and be done.

If the kid didn't have insurance, they probably don't have $200 to spare.

To bad so sad. Don't hit other cars or go driving.

I'm not bitter or anything and this definitely hasn't happened to me before.... :anonymous:

Isn’t that under the flare? I wouldn’t even worry about it..

It is under the flare, but the crease sort of pushes the bumper down away. I think if I can get the crease fixed, but bumper corner will align better

Wasn't an experiment i entered into willingly. found out 3 weeks after that I had actually broken my C1 vertebrae. Luckily no surgery needed but damn lucky. Would have rather kept hacking up and modifying my 08.

Yes I believe ARB is the only company selling in the US that does crash testing but I believe that's required for Australian on road use. Other companies avoid liability by claiming these as Off Road Use Only and customers own responsibility after it ships out. I can attest the airbags work on these bumpers the same as without an aftermarket one, as the airbag is what broke my neck.
