    Working nights this week. About to leave work (hopefully) at 6AM and see how the roads are. Just have to make it from Fayetteville to Prairie Grove, so hopefully the Tacoma gets me home.


    Just got home. Roads were actually pretty good around town. Packed snow with good traction.

    Does anyone in the group have OnX Hunt that can identify property owners? There is a dump of old tires and a water heater at the following location. I have a friend that can organize a cleanup operation with people and a trailer. I heard a rumor that the stretch of property may be privately owned. I'm sure the forest service knows the tires are there. They have been there for years. We would like to remove them during winter..

    The tires are off Rd Y24D in the Cedar Creek Lake area at the following lat-long location.

    I think this same site was posted on the NSO FB page a couple weeks ago. You can cross private land to get to USFS land.

    Got some info that the location is owned by Greenbay Packaging Inc. I believe that explains why it has been neglected all this time. I'm starting to understand the void now.

    Jboro got mostly sleet out of all of this, and it's all packed down solid now. Still very proud of the Cooper ST Maxx tires. I've been going anywhere I want in 4wd with no dramas at all. :thumbsup:

    Had some good ice on all the roads in DFW too. Weird to be stopped at a red light and just start sliding sideways without trying to go forward at all
