Dumb question, have you checked the charging port for lint/gunk? It doesn't take much to keep it from charging

If not that it probably needs to have a port replacement

yeah I regularly clean it out with a little plastic toothpick that one of my pocket knives has on it.

Funny enough, it was after doing that yesterday that it stopped charging altogether. Maybe I fucked it up somehow lol

My pixel 3 had charge issues also it just shut off one day and I could never get it back on. My pixel 6 I have had no issues with yet. But I am using a wireless charger. Have you tried that yet? It seams to work a lot better for me.

I was thinking about trying that actually. I've looked up some how-to's on port replacement and goddamn they don't make smartphones easy to get into like they used to.

apparently the 3a doesn't support wireless charging. You have to plug a wireless charging receiver into the port and if my port's fucked up then that won't work. FML

Yeah they make it difficult to fix anything anymore. They just want you to buy a new phone. My JBL Bluetooth speaker did the same thing the port is toast. Honestly, I think your best bet is wireless. It works well. And you don't have to take the phone apart.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
2gr is better. I can run a 200k motor without opening it up at 7600 rpm and make roughly 300hp without too much worry. And even if it pops, the engines not hard or expensive to replace

yeah I just looked it up and the 3a doesn't support wireless charging. Probably just going to have to go get a new phone later today so I'm not without one for awhile. I'm going to keep some electrical tape over the damn charging port from now when its in my pocket.

You still like the 6? I have it sitting in my cart

The 3a XL has really taken a performance hit since the Android 12 update and it drives me nuts. I actually had to turn off all animations to make it usable

If you get a new phone I would recommend the 6 pro. It's pretty great.

Yeah mine's been doing this thing lately too where it won't download incoming text messages until I restart the phone and download them manually. Got the latest updates, cleared the text app cache and all the stuff the recommend trying but it still does it. Fucking annoying. I'll probably stick with Android though because I refuse to spend whatever crazy $ new iPhones cost these days

So far so good. I dropped it the other day onto the tile floor and it survived no issues.

$900 ffffuuuu that's brand new iPhone territory lol. Damn (on the low end of new iPhone territory but still)

Probably go with last years model or something, I was happy with the 3a camera and all until these charging issues came up

my wife had an iPhone 4 or 5 for years and only had to get another because it eventually it couldn't take any more updates. I wish I could keep a phone that long, don't think I've had one more than 2 or 3 years tops before it shits the bed.

yeah the 5 is looking pretty good. So you buy it unlocked and then just take it to your service provider ya? I've always just bought direct through Sprint (er...T-Mobile now I guess). Actually last time I did it through Best Buy but they were able to make it work
