I didn't even realize my 3a had a headphone jack. I got some wireless earbuds a couple years ago and haven't looked back at corded headphones for music, the wireless ones are amazing. No dongle either, just connects to bluetooth

i wash those in my washer, and have lost many in my past, hate having to charge after or remembering to before each of my workouts too

I haven't lost mine yet but I only use them at the gym....and I workout maybe twice a week these days if I'm lucky

I keep the charging pack in the truck on the shifter boot so I don't forget to charge them

The holder charges the earbuds when not in use, and the earbuds themselves last a long time.

Been using them for months on the daily as I use them in school and work as they work great for hearing protection.

Wife says she can't tell that I'm wearing them either when taking phone calls.

Don't have to pay retail either; Target will have them for $20-30 off and if you're a Red Card holder that's another 5% off. Great quality earbuds that I put through the ringer for cheap.

 

Is the plug full of lint? My iphone doe’s the same thing, usally gotta get a needle and pluck out a balm of lint that’s built up in the hole. Then the charger starts working like again

yeah I always clean it out once in awhile but its just gotten worse over time (doesn't want to charge), cleaned it out yesterday and now won't charge at all. Should see if they sell a little cap you can clip over it for when its in my pocket

 

My ottor box defender case has a little plug that covers the port.

Hmm found a place by my work that says they can fix the charge port on my phone, gonna give that a try. Paid enough money for this thing 2 years ago I should get some more life out of it.

 

I'm using a similar one in the GX. Not sure how much longer it will work as the 3.5 jack seems to be messing up with playing through all the speakers.

 

You guys talking about car stereos makes me miss my Android Auto.

I put one in the Tacoma and in the 4R.

I should've pulled the stereo to put into the LC but I told myself "I'll just get something better"

I don't wanna stare at that wiring mess again...least not yet
