Hi guys, forgive me if this has been asked before but I couldn't find an answer... Is there a way to turn on the fogs the same time when I turn the dial to just DRL?

For example in the picture below right now its on off position. When I turn dial up to DRL, while I'm driving it just has the DRL. If I turn it up once more while driving it will have the DRL and Fogs running the same time. So basically is there a way to somehow, when I just have it on DRL the fogs will come on as well simultaneously? Or this even possible?

I use this all the time... two clicks up from the off. Just make sure the fog light button is also on.

That's similar to the DRL, but not the DRL. If you have the LED housings it's a little dimmer on the surrounding light and illuminates the small portion underneath as well. It also turns on your tail lights. It's called "parking lights". It's the one above the DRL selection. I also use this method sometimes, but it's not technically the DRL's by Tacoma's standards. What the DRL's should be is the way they are up front and the tail lights illuminated like when you are in parking mode.

Technically, there is no way to have the DRL and the fogs. Maybe some modifications like the "anytime fogs" setup some people run might achieve this, but I doubt it.

@OP, just do what we do and hit the parking lights then you can run your fogs. OR... a good option is to get backlit fog lights. Diode Dynamics has some. I believe you can run the DRL's with the backlit fogs at the same time, but don't quote me on it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same situation as parking lights.

I had to check this a couple times and that's how I found out the DRL is brighter than the parking light mode.

Has anyone found a work-a-round it? It's possible right?
