I know that preditory lending has been delt with in housing, I have no idea with cars. It's the dealerships property, they have no legal obligation to sell to me, I think they could ask you sing Christmas carols in a Santa suit if they wanted. But it's on you (me) the consumer to walk away.

I've always been told to just finance at the dealership - - -since dealerships are more inclined to haggle when you finance. The main things are not paying for any b/s charges that tack on to the loan, no early payoff fee, and paying off the loan before interest gets charged.

I paid cash for mine and they didn’t give me crap about it. They tried offering me extended warranty and other stuff.

They actually seemed impressed I was able to pay cash. Maybe they were impressed I did my homework, I knew exactly what I would pay (because I had leverage with another vehicle at a different dealership). Who knows? But yeah, there should be ZERO issue with a cash payment.

Completely off topic.. but I'm driving 7.5 hours tomoorw to pick up new rims, wheels and shocks for my 07 sport..

Remichex built out his new offroad 2022 and his gear is going on my 07 sport. The nose will lift 1 inch from just the shocks.. my shocks compressed at 550 the new ones 750..

Has anyone used PenFed for their loan with a Toyota dealer? I have a quick, most likely obvious question.

Love seeing them all finally show up.

    Such a good looking machine.

Picked up a bunch of stuff from my dealer today. 40* or not, thay chin strap came off and theTRD skid went in. Accidentally dropped my leg in a puddle of ice cold parking lot water... lol

Trucker shortage could be reduced by a lot. Piss poor dispatching for one, then you have shipper and receiving that could do a lot better getting trucks moving. Companies don’t care, but if you pay truck drivers by the hour you would see an improvement.
