I was very confused until I realized Boxer is the name....not the breed

Both your dogs have nice teeth so I was wondering, do you guys brush their teeth?

 

You can. There are also healthy chewing activities, like nylabones or the like. You can also buy dental chews that are meant to be eaten or brush as you would yourself. Most vets will offer dental care as well. I am not sold on anethstesia for routine tasks like dental cleaning--you may want to discuss this with your vet as there are a couple different anesthetics to choose from and products/characteristics change over time.

 

Man, dead ringer for my my Bandit (1980-1991) None have ever come close.

 

Tooth bones .

 

Any hard bones can help. We give my guy some frozen cow or elk bones he loves it and keeps them clean. we also do brush his teeth once a month.
When we had a broken tooth pulled. The vet said just keep doing whatever you do.
We started when he was a puppy and he’s 3.5 now

 

Now that is one tuckered out doggie right there!
