Nope, mine does not have it. Guess all the 20s got it. I believe it actually cost Toyota more money to make a separate window wiper switch. Why they even did such a thing is beyond me. My 88 f150 even has intermittent wipers lol

They also ask a good amount of money for their Ford trucks.

I can't get past the $41000 MSRP. I bought right before this mess started.

So they charge you full price for the tire, rim & lift kit even though the6 kept the original stock rims, tires and lift kit.

Exactly!! Not that I would accept ANY of that shit they bolted on but at least I'd tell them they can put ALL the stock components that belong to that truck as it was delivered, neatly in the bed for transport home.

And boy, that makes my new black lugnuts that I paid $29 for sure look like a booger!

My TRD OR was 42 - everything but leather and a moonroof. This Sport must have everything under the sun to get it to 41. Actually, even building one I can only get it up to 39 without all the accessories like all weather mats and such. Well, 40 with the TRD lift.

This past July 31 is when I bought my TRD OR DCLB for 2 points under MSRP...which was $42.6k w/tech pkg, non JBL 8" HU, rear step, blackout, bed lights. Most all dealer's were doing at least 3.5k market adjustment. Mine was one of the last you see on a lot. After I snagged it, it was allocation only for inventory at ALL dealers within hundreds of miles. I have to say I was lucky with the timing. Can't say it was planned, though. Just luck.

When I bought the Subaru I traded in for the Tacoma, there were TONS on the lot. I went back a couple months later and it was like a ghost town. I was pretty shocked when the Toyota dealer gave me 4 grand in my pocket over what I paid for it, lol. Didn't seem too bad when I got the taco, but I knew it used to be cheaper. I think people were saying the works - with everything - used to be around $38k? That woulda been nice, but for sure I would have never made that $4k off my trade in either.

A wise man told me many years ago "it's not how much you make, it's how much you save". So continue to be smart my man & sock your cash away. The housing market is currently inflated but the automotive market is criminally insane. See how things pan out in a year or two & you may be ready to make a move at that time. You're absolutely right to prioritize a house over a car. By the time you're 40 you'll likely have both. Meanwhile keep on trucking with your sweet RC 145K virgin.

What exactly does "virgin" mean when referring to a truck?

Well, in your case you have a spanking new frame. And 145K is not high mileage for a well cared for 2nd gen. Perhaps I should've said pristine.
