Just curious, but what is a family casino? A really small operation owned by an individual, or something else? When I think of casinos I think of big business and deep pockets.

Wifes family operates the last independently owned casino in the US. It (the casino) pays money to local tribe, which they are members of, to function as its own entity.

Im a 911 dispatcher for a large city. I dispatch police, medical and fire calls. Its been an interesting job. I do love the schedule, 4 10's with 3 consecutive days off. Media and entertainment prob make it seem or look like a much more stressful job than it really is. Theres some days where youll take a bummer call but those are far and few between.
