Any guitar players on TW?

It sounds bad AF. You are gonna like yours. Let me know if yours make a pop when you turn it on. My guess is it does this because it's not grounded. All the pots on mine are clean, I'm surprised something this old works this well. I expected to have to take it apart and clean ever thing and maybe replace a few caps.

 

They all used to pop… I had an old AF tweed amp 2x12. I had to use a painters stick to turn it on, or it would light you up!
I was a teenager and had to interest in fixing things…just let it rip!

 

Cool. Had to ask. Have not used one of these since the early 90s. Peavey should go back to there old logo. Looks metal just sitting there.

The cleans on it also are impressive. Also is the "made in the USA" on the back.

 

Yep, that particular Peavey was a solid choice. They also made one that looked the same, larger cab with I believe was 2 10s.
One of the guitarist in the band I had, used it as a practice amp. For a solid state amp it screamed…not as loud as the Roland, but it did have a nice Gain/Drive button that actually sounded decent. Was a bit flat, but hell it was the 90s…who gave an F!?

Why does everyone think their shit is rare now? Its annoying as hell. I love when you find something this labeled vintage and rare and there are literally 24 other of the same thing for sale all labeled the same way.
