Why on earth would I not spend if I can buy a pallet of canned pinto beans or a crate of socks and flip it next year for 5-10% more?

Thats the problem with high inflation...it tends to beget higher inflation as people accelerate their dumping of currency for items of tangible value before it's too late.

Theres no way to get this toothpaste back in the tube without major ratehikes and a lot of economic pain. What I question is will they do that or just keep lying? Because 7.5% my ass. Double that at least.

 

Look on the bright side. The FED smashed it's 2% yearly inflation goals. lol
