Remember when

What about this gum that could be compared to polycarbonate that lead to gum surgery lol

 

Anyone remember these? I at a ton of them at summer camp, circa 1979.

 

I heard that rumor, but with Alka-seltzer, and because they can't fart.

 

The days before the internet.

I used to go outside, it was nuts!

 

Yup..lived in White Plains NY 1979-1980

 

We were in Ossining.

 

Sooooooo.........I am not saying that "said rumors" are true, nor am I admitting to any wrong doing in the past that I "personally did" or "saw someone else do," but .....whether it is either they couldn't burp or they couldn't fart, they don't......"explode" per say....but it does "apparently" expand in their stomachs to the point where they can't breath and it is.......Let's just say, "not healthy for their chances of a long or short term existence."

 

Definitely different for what one usually thinks re NY. Our blocks were 10 houses long by 3 wide. Within a block we had a grocery store, convenience store, church, playground. My dad drove 4 miles to work each way versus 50 each way here in MA.

If you had one at home like we did, you had to go in the garage to use it because that's where they always were mounted.
