That looks like nice work! It is too bad the wires weren't about 2" longer! How do you feel about the light output on the floormat area? Would you mind posting a pic standing in the door opening?

I like the high up location better then the backs of the front seats because how low they are in my truck.

I have to say that looks pretty good! Seems like an easier install and quite possibly cleaner in the end, especially if a short extension is available or a little wire slack can be found in the current setup. Nice work!

yep, just saw they offer many different lengths! I think I saw in a video that there may already be a 4' extension included - so I'll wait to see what all is included before I order an extension.
I'm 99.99% sure this is the mount location I'll be choosing for the rears.

We still have fronts in stock, but only 1 Aqua rear and 2 red rear left in our first batch. If anyone got fronts and is now wanting rears! Now that they are here we’re back to our normal avg shipping within 24 hours M-F.

These posts are awful, guys. I wasn’t sure if I wanted blue or aqua. I bought both colors to be safe. Now I haven’t a clue which to so.

First world problems at their finest.

EDIT. Now I have to buy two pairs of rear lights to match the options in the back.

24 hours? My 400w in motion harness had a shipping label created 11 minutes after I placed the order and was at USPS shortly after that.

Hahaha! It's all good. Having options is better than no lights at all.;)

    I waited too long. :annoyed:

Now @memario1214 is out of stock for blue. Any idea when stock will be available again?

The color in the pics is different. The blue looks more like a blacklight and the aqua looks more blue. In reality, the aqua matches the dash backlights and the blue is blue. It's hard to capture that same color. You can always get white. There is also a way to splice in two colors, but that is more electrical work than I am comfortable with. I thought about doing white when the doors open and aqua while driving. The dimmest setting really pleasing. It's easy to test too and the extras are around $20 I think. I'm going to test white too. I guess I may as well get the rears in both, lol :spending:

    Inb4 the "RGB" option ;)

I just got my kit(s) today. I've got a pair of blue and a pair of aqua. I wasns't 100% sure which direction I wanted to go Day 1, so I bought a front and a rear kit to decide. My wife's Grand Cherokee has some aqua accent lighting which is quite nice, but 2002 Mike had blue neon underdash lighting in his Honda in high school so 20 years later to go back just feel right. I just feel like I now need a pair of each color to match for the rear. The RGB option would be fun, but I feel like once the novelty wore off I'd keep it one color anyways.

    EDIT: And ordered.

Oh man! I also had a Neon and a Ford Escort, both with UV lights lol. I could never use the RGB option to function like a rainbow... just for subtle changes. I've always had it in my PC's and now days you can't even buy a product that doesn't have some form of RGB. Unfortunately, in the PC world, it usually defaults to rainbow throw up. My first build was that way and now it's the total opposite. No lights at all, all off. Anyways, can't wait to see some pics. Always loved your truck and have some serious envy of it if I'm being honest! Enjoy!

You want the darker blue or the lighter aqua?

    To derail for 30 seconds...

The purple ones were on clearance and broke me said (2) for $10 was better than (1) blue for $15.. At one point they were under the front bumper but ended up in my trunk when the trunk light broke. I never did get around to putting the trunk back together.

My wife's eyes rolled out of her head when I showed her pictures of what I was planning on doing.
