Exact badge placement help needed

Could anybody give me measurements of the exact badge placement on the tailgate? I need the "toyota", "tacoma", "v6", and "SR5". Please use the bottom and the sides of the tailgate as reference. My tailgates being re-painted and will soon be rebadging.

Nice outdoorgb, very clean w/o anything stuck all over it, the way my 05 was. First time I backed into a curb my 4x4 mud flaps were history, never replaced them.

 

Since that pic my daughter graduated OSU so that is gone... so are the Leer decals on the side of the canopy. Now there is a trapezoidal depression there I'm trying to fill.

 

That's for the "TRD" sticker on the side panel. I need the dimensions/locations for the emblems on the tailgate.

 

Ah... my apologies. My thread response is White Belt. Nothing like coming across as a dick and not even getting you what you need. Apologies. Okay, my Google Fu is white belt is well since I cannot seem to get the right search term for tailgate decals. Here is what I suggest: eyeball it based off of images (not very precise), or measure reference points to the image and then calculate the measurements based on objects you pasted in the image (I'll explain below).

Suggestion 1: I used greenshot but any image editor will work. Draw some reference lines and eyeball it using painter's masking tape on your own rig. You'll be close.
Suggestion 2: Notice the purple line I drew in greenshot(open source - go download it)? I don't know how far away the camera person is standing and I don't know what lens duder is using so depth of field may be out of whack but what you can do is go measure your tailgate handle assembly (both vertically and horizontally) and then cut and paste the same sized objects in greenshot. You can use any object in the picture that you have a physical reference for (Like the V6 logo). So you go measure your V6 logo and make a square in the image editor.... then just copy and paste squares until the tailgate looks like graph paper and count the squares. Multiply the digital squares by your physical measurements and booya.

Below - I didn't spend much time with this and the image isn't rotated level but you get the idea. If you have a vector graphics program like Illustrator or Affinity Design it is much easier but this is how you can take an image and get to a number that is very close to where you need to be. So your V6 logo is 1.33333 tailgate handles from the right edge of the tailgate handle and the Tacoma is 1 tailgate handle from the left edge. Now measure the width and multiply. Booya.

Following and would love to see the final outcome. Can I ask where you got your new decals? Just got a 2010 Tacoma that is missing the tailgate decals and looking to add them.

 

$144 for all 5 emblems.

 

Where from? Guessing they are OEM at that price? Know what they are made out of?

 

Found the correct part numbers on a Toyota OEM parts web site. Fished around Ebay and found the least expensive OEM badges with the part number. Brought my list to the local dealership and asked if they could match those prices. They are OEM factory parts made in China the label states. They're plastic.
