Machine shop called. Just waiting on the bearings. Short block will be done. Bearings are a few weeks out by the sound of it

 

We had to order King bearings for one of the Nissans because Clevite/Mahle only had chevy and mopar stuff in the warehouses right now. ACL might have something quicker for you, but something tells me getting the engine in your hands isn't gonna speed up the process haha

 

It won’t. Because the transmissions still in limbo. Engine and trans are the two key things stopping me from finishing the roller so I can bring the body home and prep it for the body shop

 

@Wulf, do you know of anyone making a t-case brake for our tacomas?

The one I have was made by Ballistic Fab but I think is discontinued

Unfortunately I don't know of any that fit the chain case, but I think Sky's and a few others like FROR have them for gear cases.

When I bought the Skydio drone, I must admit that I didn't know much about drones at all. My kid has a little mini one that I thought was a bit hard to fly.

I just knew that I saw some LC owners using Skydios so I followed the herd. It turns out Skydios are made in the US and a major supplier to the military.

Conversion mounts for what?

 

I'm weighing options, the Sequoia has drum ebrakes with its disc brakes, so pending figuring out cables it would still work.

To stick Toyotas most soylent V6 in the MR2 dingus

 

I'm not sure the bell crank, rotor, caliper etc are any different, the most obvious difference to me is the caliper mount on the case... maybe you could start with a gear case kit and build a new mount for the caliper?
