Crafted up a solution for a buddy that kept snapping his transmission mount every few months.. sourced from your local Home Depot lol. Cabin vibrations are more apparent but holds pretty solid. Made a few more modifications than what is shown for it to fit properly.

Fabricating a tube steel crossmember would probably be the best solution.

 

I posted a couple photos of my old Hot Wheels in that thread the other day and I got a like out of him. He is still around droppin' the likes.

 

Swapped from driving to fog pattern lens on the Diode Dynamics SS3 Pros in my All-Pro bumper. The driving pattern was fantastic and really threw some distance but its not often I get to use them on my nighty drives without blinding someone so street legal fog pattern was a no brainer. I'm amazed how much it helps the pathetic factory low beam halogens, I was looking for a simple projector retrofit setup but now I don't feel it's necessary.

Did you get the clear lenses also? Hard to tell the beam cutoff. Very intense.

 

The Pro version is only the mid-level, the Max are supposed to be even crazier but I will run these all the time on the street so I don't want to blind people. I've been running the same lights on my Tahoe for 2 years and don't think I've ever been flashed by oncoming traffic.

 

Have you ever taken them swimming in Richloam? How do they hold up to water?

 

Just Amber-colored Fog patterned lenses on SS3pros. The fog beam is slightly lower than the cutoff from the factory low beams which is what I wanted to not blind people. Their output is fantastic!

 

I was actually invited to go down there last Friday but this truck is mostly for light trails I try to keep it out of the mud. Looking at the design of the sealed lens I don't see how long-term submersion would affect them. I planned to throw just one driving pattern on my ATV whenever I see a sale pop up again. I wouldn't hesitate to dunk them in Richloam.

I'm running the same ones and I have been flashed a couple times. I make sure to check their alignment every so often to make sure they didn't come back up. I love the cut off but I feel there is a lot more light bleed up then I would have thought but it doesn't bother most people. I need to do the Fog light anytime mod so I can still run them when I want high beams as well.

 

I need to do the fog light anytime mod too high beams are kinda awful now.
