Core support kit?

Hey all, my core support is tearing itself apart like most that are wheeled. Rather than replace with another weak sheet metal support, I would like something more stout.

Is there a read to bolt in tube option or another option for these trucks?

I would like to avoid fabbing, but but will if neede.

This is the part that is tearing...not sure if those Fenders would prevent t that.

 

Im in the same boat! Cutting the fenders off and tubing the front in the spring.

 

They claim it will because the fenders will be a lot more rigid and reduce flexing of the core support.

 

You can also get partial pieces of the support on rock auto and double up in the trouble areas.

That's my actual solution if it gets bad enough. Just cut out all the sheet metal and build a front core support/fenders out of tube. I just hope I don't have to because that project is going to suck.

Oh shit. I didn’t realize you could order partial pieces of the core support. Thanks for posting that. I’ve been welding the tears in mine over and over because I didn’t want to do a full core support.

Being able to replace just the fucked up section will be so much better.
