Honestly it looks pretty sick. Some questionable design decisions along the way, but I like it more than Cybertruck for now.

You can get either the 350 range and 3.5 seconds, or 329 range and the 3 seconds. And over $100k! Give me a better battery

Refueling infrastructure and TIME is the barrier to wide adoption.

They need to make swappable batteries like your phone has. Pull up to station, swap em out, motor on along.

None of us have had a phone with a swappable battery since 2012 lol.

That being said, the technology for hot-swapping batteries for forklifts exists, and could be adapted to cars

We had this discussion on here a while back. They need to charge the car while it's moving. Solar panels, wind turbine or alternators.

One of those companies in China was going to use this strategy. You don’t own the battery, lowers initial cost, and they swap them at a jiffy lube type place.

Not as such, but those little USB powerpacks are functionally the same thing.

That'd be nice, but I don't think people would have much problem with a battery swap as long as it could be arranged to occur in a similar timeframe that filling up with a tank of gas does now. If I could do that and battery stations were as common as gas stations, I'd switch over. As it stands, electric cars still don't make sense at all for the portion of the country that lives outside major metros.

Or even better, just let the driver do it, like current gas stations.

You're already subscribed to the "gasoline", "regular maintenance", "tires", and "what is that smell?" services with your current car as it is.

What’s the difference? If they charge you $50 for a charged battery. It’s like a propane tank exchange for a grill

I don't know why they wouldn't add alternators to them . Basically that's what gas cars have it charges the starting battery and then runs the electrical on the car.
