No problem seeing THOSE photos again. Very nice looking wheels and your background was entertaining - even the second time around.

    Nothing... yet...
After an entire day yesterday of planning out what tire I want, went through 200 pages of this post lol. I find out that I cannot get a set of 255/85/16 ST Maxx's literally ANYWHERE in Canada. And the only tires a few shops (online and local stores) are all Toyo M-55's which I don't really care for.

Must be supply chain issues or maybe some brands are discontinued?

Thank you for putting this together! A ton of info all in one place. Originally was gonna go wider but i am digging the skinny tires.

I've been looking to get a set since early last year here in southern California. I was actually able to order a set at the time with a "ships to store in 1-2 weeks" and then got notified they were backordered with no ETA, so far out that they recommended I just cancel the order. I didn't want to pay for a set of tires I didn't have in my possession so I cancelled hoping they'd be in stock soon but hasn't happened.

Fortunately I still have some life on my current 265/75 Cooper AT3s while I wait, but super disappointed at the lack of options in 255/85/16.

Toyo AT3's on stock suspension, 255/80r17, little more noisy, little more floaty on highway. Fit without any rubbing so far! Will be off-roading this weekend to put that to the test.

Heavy stuff big tires drives like hell
Wish there was more demand for a 285/85R16 or 285/80R17...

Toyo does have the ATIII in a 35/11.50R17 which is essentially a 285/80R17, but it's not a full 35, and not a mud terrain, so what's the point really?!

Forgive me for ranting to nobody in particular

Here's a few pics of my 255/85R16 Toyo baby mudpuppies for further relevance

Your rant makes no sense at all! Are you familiar with metric 35’s or other 35’s? Almost none of them are a full 35. These are a great way to avoid 12.5 wide tires in 35’s. Toyo is not the only on e that does this size…

I’ve run the MT 255’s like you have twice. Best 16inch pizza cutters IMO.

There is another high end brand that does a 255/85r17 if you’re into that!!

As promised; 255/85/16 KM3s on 16x8 Black Rhino Armory wheels. Removed factory mud flaps as they rubbed with sharp cornering. They are louder than my K02s, but that's fine by me. Feel is the same thus far coming off stock Off-Road wheels and 265/75/16 KO2s. I'm pleased with the outcome. Really looking to add bumpers and call it good.

Lookin' great! It's so strange to me that photos of those tires on 8" wheels always look less stretched than my set which are mounted on 7.5" wheels.

Most likely sold on this size. Hopefully I don't need alot of trimming.

I could be wrong but I don’t think they make F5s in -12 offset. Those are probably 0 offset.
