I love to hear the power shocks did well. The 150’s have always done really well in the bolt gun it’ll be nice if they do well for me in the gas gun. Having a common ammo is great

I expect it to improve a bit with a brake/can combo as it is a bit jumpy on recoil with the a2 flash hidder. Plus tuning the gas system.

Not expecting this thing to be a super precision rig, end goal is a reliable .308 battle rifle. But still curious to see what I can get out of a "budget" build so to speak

I ordered the A2 when I ordered the barrel yesterday. It was a cheap option for now as I’m not sure which way I’m going to go with a brake or whatever else I may decide on. It will be nice if it’s accurate enough to hunt with and there’s no reason it won’t be

Shouldn be plenty accurate with the federal powershock 150 sp that thing hits hard inside 500 world be a solid hunting option

Would like to try the MSR 150 as well.

I just did the A2 because I knew I'd be ordering a Sandman to go with it.

It has proven to be a wonderful hunting round so far. When I started hunting with the 308 I put my 270 away and haven’t hunted with it since. I will have to do some of the same as you gave done. Did you try the Federal Fusion 150 grn yet?

Blew my ammo $$ on an early valentine's gift for wifey. Unfortunately for me that gift is from H&K so it hurt the wallet and with all the test loads I've got a good bit to shoot through first.

I found what seems to be a nice upper vise block. It comes apart then bolts back together once you put the upper part inside the reciever. It also functions as a bore guide for cleaning.

The aero bcg seems to be breaking in nicely definitely had some of the stiffness knocked out of it in the last two sessions. Gonna put about 100 or so more rounds through it then may start adjusting the gas block to see if can dial it in a bit more now that the issues seem to be resolved.

When I get one more piece I’m going to start slinging some rounds through it. No optics yet but going to shoot it anyway.

Charging handle came today so it is now functional! Function tests all worked fine I’ll take it out and shoot it some this weekend. All I have on it right now is a set of Mbus but at lest I can see how well it works.
