Even if the blades fit into the factory harness coming from the 12V cigarette outlet, which they don't, the setup wouldn't work.

The factory plug is an L shape whereas the Blue Sea plug is inline -





Wonder if the factory plug can be 'unpinned' otherwise I'd have to cut it off and put clips that'll accept the blades.

This. Just cut the L in the corner and you can then plug it into the Blue Sea one. Or cut the plastic off completely and heat shrink it to cover the clips. If the clips are too big, that's fine, they still work. Too small, then you need to replace.

 

Do you know of a plug that works with the Oem harness?
