Just purchased a 2010 Double Cab 4x4 with the long bed, 190k miles, for $14,900. I was randomly scrolling a dealers site and I came across a listing for a Tacoma with no pictures or info. Called them up and they didnt know anything about it and were surprised it was on the website. Said it just got delivered like an hour earlier. I got in my car and drove straight there, shocked to find out it was 4x4, double cab, long bed, and one of the cleanest trucks i had seen at that age. Took it for a quick test drive and paid cash an hour later. Honestly think they made a mistake somewhere. Had it looked over by a mechanic friend and they were shocked. High mileage sure but it was commercial and has a clean service record. Anyways all that to say even in this crazy market there are still some gems to be found. Stoked to finally have a Tacoma of my own again, been over 15 years since my last.

Bought my 15' DCSB 4x4 in 15' with 4k for 27k. Found it on Craigslist, thought it was a scam. Called the number, spoke to the gentlemen and struck a deal. She's got 62k now and I love it to death.

    Nothing major yet.
Based off the large snow pile in the background I’d say somewhere up north. It looks to be a 2012-2015 based off the front.

EDIT: yep, according to his previous post it’s a 2015 and he’s located in Ohio.

I'm a new taco owner myself, and I knew these things held their value, but holy crap.

I lucked out, found a clean (oil treated, so nearly rust free) 07 4x4 access cab with 6" Procomp stage 1 lift, Fabfours front bumper with winch, AM rear bumper, and some other goodies for under $10K. 175K miles, 4.0 with the 6MT. A very well maintained truck. Absolutely love it. I'm in Ohio also, and I HATE rust. All my vehicles get hot oil treated, so it was a blessing to find one that had been treated in my price range.

When I see other early 2nd gens that are equally clean, they're usually listed for $15K and up. Crazy.

Only bummer is I was told it was a TRD Sport, but looking up the vin it's a SR5 package truck. Not a big deal, just a little bummed that it's not a true TRD truck. That reminds me, I need to updated my info here on that.

16.8k OTD for this 2010 with 124k miles. I did replace the tires to less aggressive tread, both front wheel bearings, front diff needle bearing to the solid one from east coast gear supply and replaced the headlights since they were melted from the dlr. Currently waiting for new OME leaf springs to arrive to replace the old ones. The clear coat on the roof and part of the hood is gone. That's about all that's wrong with it.

2013 TRD 4x4 out of Arizona. So clean it feels criminal driving in Minnesota. I paid $17,500 from a private party just last month. It's got 180k. Sold my '04 for $10,000 to help with the purchase. The '13 is way different than my '04 in many ways. I think I'm starting to get used to it. IMG_6834.jpg

I wanted white (looks so damn good), but the deal on my MGM was too good to pass up.

Dad's truck fell through. His ALS is really messing with his mind and it has been impossible to work with him on the sale. His poor mind. I just feel terrible for the man, such a terrible disease. My wife and I decided it'd be better for me to find a truck for sale somewhere else and just sell Dad's truck outright once he can find a moment of lucidity. I picked up a 2013 TRD Sport with fewer miles and a bit better options, didn't get the long bed unfortunately.

The new rig should be here next week. Weee!

I got my 2014 SR5 4X4 double cab a few months back, 1 owner with 78K miles for $26K out the door. I feel like I got a good deal on it, looks and drives great!

Sorry to hear the ALS news, my cousin has it and your right…. Terrible disease.
Congrats on the new truck though, that’s awesome that you found another so fast!

Right on. At least with MGM you won’t have to worry about the paint blowing off!
