bob means to cut the back off right at the shackles and cut about 13" out of the bed then weld the tail lights back on, it shortens your bed and increases your departure angle.

Hmm I'm not sure yet, the 83 that I have had the bed like that but it was a shity weld . I might keep it like that for a while then cut it up

Ok I wad looking at the gears on http://www.ringpinion.com/ and I'm not sure with ones to get. I'm looking to get 4.88 but I don't know which ones to get. Need some help

I'm no expert, but I am doing the same gearing research that you are. I have been looking at the "Thick" gears. With the thick ones you don't necessarily have to replace the carrier which will save you money. As far as manufacturers go I couldn't recommend any because I don't have any yet either!

 

Shit I'm going to need to throw down a good amount of money for this. And going to Vegas in feb is not going to help me get them faster

Here is a better picture of the grill, this weekend I'm going to try to finish the fenders and put them back on.

 

Just throw on the fenders, didn't sand or anything, just throw some primer on it and called it a night.
