Yep, did a thing! New leather for the steering wheel. Took forever, but it’s sooooooo nice.

 

Those cats just threw a party. Shot glass laying on its side after a night of abuse.

it’s takes patience and a couple beers. But it’s do-able on your own.

Mira feels amazing, and it adds thickness to the wheel, so it’s nice if you have larger hands.

tip: if you do yours, put the tape where you see the wrinkles in mine. I had to use a heat gun and hand held steamer to relax the leather in those spots.

They look ok in person. From a distance better. For around $10, worth taking a try, if you don't like, peel off. ETSY.

 

This is one project I will never do. There is no doubt in my mind that I would screw it up royally.

 

TRD PRO GRILLE So where would everyone suggest the best place is to get a TRD PRO Grille to replace the one on my Tacoma TRD Off-Road? I have looked at several locations from Yotaverse, to Tacoma Beast.

Where do you all recommend?

 

Another option is WheelSkins.com. It's a leather cover that stitches over the factory cover. While not as factory looking as the one above, it still turns out nice. And you don't have to disassemble anything. You can pick different colors and textures. So it's a good compromise between difficulty and looks. I like mine. Took a few hours to install.

 

Little piece of wood does so much for keeping my $*** together. You MT guys would know.
