All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I am sure you will, Eddie is a stand up guy. There customer service is excellent.

Seems like it, they were the only people that would work with me and send just the center section of a bumper

So I got something new happening with my Tacoma. I have removed the entire back seat panel behind the rear seats and have made a custom panel on the plasma cutter for AUX Power.

I have been going back and forth on this taco. Was debating on selling it for a 200 series LC. Mainly cause I tow shit.
But I decided to hold off on that and finish this build how I intended, and use the Tundra to tow.

I bought a RedArc Manager30. This will enable me to charge all 4 batteries of different types and sizes, using a combination of Solar, ALT, and Sure power when it’s parked.
The GFC is being outfitted with 4 120w panels, that will be mounted sub the bars using trays, as to not allow them to deflect under crossbar load.

The AUX system is monitored via an LCD in cab, one at the rear mounted to the Decked box, and it also has an App in which you can control any of your stuff.

I will post pics soon, it’s a complete mess and wires are everywhere now.

Yup, nice guys for sure. I have bought a boat load of armor for many rigs, I can say not all that sell stuff are the nicest to talk to.
I remember talking with one big name bumper salesperson, in which they gave me the Long Pause. You ever have that happen when your talking with someone, and you can just tell they want your ass to hang up lol

So what we going to do about a Mod Day?

I posted a question a couple of weeks ago, and got exactly ZERO replies.

We (OK, @BYJOSHCOOK ) did this last year. It should be an annual tradition.

If not mods, at least meet-n-greet, and plan some outings for the year. And/or talk about rig setups, camping, etc.

I got some space cleared out, gonna drop some crush n’ run and top it with something clean to park on, that doesn’t dust up.
I will have an area soon enough for us to camp out in! Its really not that far from y’all, probably take 3-4hrs for most of you. Takes me about 4.5 from south of ATL.

I know right? How odd and to be on CL for that matter. Who buys a Fab shop off a listing on CL?

I could actually potentially make a mod day now since I changed jobs. Always wanted to go and participate in the past but could never get away.

They are in my backyard bro! I am literally in the middle of the Pisgah Forest. Takes no time to get to the Beach or Sugar.

After both storms I had 14” in my yard. I got a little jump you can hit I’m my yard. Just have to cut it hard so you don’t end up 75’ down in the creek!

I wanted to take my kayak out in the snow but it was in GA.

I was thinking about removing the plastic behind the rear seats to make a hidden gun rack. But I want the seats to be still be usable too

I didn’t remove the seats, even though I roll with them down all the time for the dogs.
I did make sure the plate, BCDC charger, and all associated connections don’t prevent the seats from closing.

My guess is another pissed customer of SOS is being petty and trying to get people to spam them.

It seems like SOS is either wonderful or awful to deal with and there is no inbetween. I know several people who swear by them and several who despise them. Both are at polar opposites of the spectrum and both have personal experiences. It seems to be a pretty even split.
