Def like that BPV location, but any concerns to going from hard line to rubber? Why not at least steel braided?

No concerns at all, you could have that line made in steel braid easily if you wanted to. It was an option, but I really highly doubt you'd notice a difference, remember the rear is drums haha. That said, I might swap to a steel braided line in the future when the Sequoia axle goes in since it has discs. Local hydraulic place will make me any combination of line I want, much cheaper than buying kits online. So I was going to have them make me some fronts soon too.

Nice! I like the idea a of fridge in the center console location. It might even be a cheaper option than finding a used OEM center console. Is it just sitting there or do you have it secured to the floor?

Not for the prices they go for these days

I just looked up the price for that center console fridge and it's about almost as much as the 65-DZ I bought 3 years ago. That overland tax is a bitch, huh?

Mines was $500, there are very few vids on it and people say its $300-400 but with covid and stuff ive seen em as high as 800$ and as low as $500. Ive been very happy with mine as my truck is my daily driver and just having nice cold drinks in the front is more ideal than a fridge in the rear for me

Definitely not shitting on your setup so I’m sorry if it came off that way, I just am blown away with how sharply Dometic’s prices have risen ever since they started heavily advertising to the overland market.

oh and to stick with the thread, I washed the salt off of it

Finishing up my sound deadening, and getting the interior in. Also trying to decide if I like the bronze or if I should throw the copper wheels on.

Well, hopped to it first thing this morning. With the 20ga Metal it was night and day difference.. got some sealant spread over the welds inside and out now. Tomorrow will hit it with a coat of undercoating.

Yeah man! I’m headed back to the desert in a week, and I’m dying to get out and test out the new tires. So i’m gettin after it. Luckily, I hate my 2 direct neighbours. So grinding and cutting at 6am is no problem for me haha!

Relocated my windshield washer fluid reservoir, stock tank was starting to crack pretty bad on the neck.
I wanted to sorta copy the scarab relocation but the tank I ordered was too big, so this will work just fine

I worked on a taco today

But alas, it was not mine and I’m sure he’ll comment here soon enough. Lol

In other news, my engine is finally under way and I’m just waiting on main bearings. Then she’s going to be ready to assemble. Nice
