my AR-30.30. ...was just having some fun with the mill and some mods and it actually has become my SHTF rifle, sold off all the ARs. It's a Marlin 336Y

Thought I’d share some eye candy with a like minded group.
Came across this the other day, it’s a Euro Co. making it. That’s a newish HiLux in the pic.

 

I live in Cali, where do you even find 30-30 ammo, I have two rifles, one Henry and one Marlin but cannot find the darn ammo.

 

3030 is hard to find here as well. Unless you want to pay an arm and a leg

 

I bought 800 rounds of Fiocchi 150g from LAX Ammo for $11/box when the Covid madness started

 

All the local stores (there are a lot) don't carry it or has no idea when some will come in, weird, I thought that it was a fairly common ammo

Here's my 2. Nothing compared to what ya'll got but at least I got 2. 30-30. They are bad to the bone IMHO. Love them.

I got a Henry 357 with a side gate, mounted a pic rail on top like yours, have as much fun shooting that as I do shooting my more "tactical" stuff.

 

Those are sweet. I wonder about legality of using them in my state Michigan. Technically those would be a locked case right?

 

Yes I do believe they have a key lock inside the bed

 

Looking for a 1 piece weaver style rail for a Mossberg 464, has anyone seen anything? All I can find are the 2 piece bases, or the XS lever scout mount. I’ve got a Romeo 5 I’m thinking about putting on it.

First rifle purchased. Marlin 336 A 24” Micro Groove Barrel JM stamped. Bought it brand new from our local shooter’s supply for $174.00 in 1979. Been flawless and extremely accurate.

I need to stay out of this thread. Every time I come here I end up spending the next 2 hours browsing gun classifieds and manufacturer lists for a lever action of my own. I'm not going to be happy until I get one in my collection, or several...
