One of the perks of daily driving an almost 25 year old vehicle....replacing rotted brake hard lines. Fortunately it was nice out, check out these hand bent artisinal brake lines20220211_125327.jpg

No need to read it, you are correct. The virus just wants to live that’s all, it won’t take up much space.

With ideas and info from @AllTacosFloat and @crashngiggles i was able to swap the one bad LBJ, lol. Took way too long. But at least I got new tools. I just need a 7/8 wrench now… couldn’t get the socket on when pressing in, so I ended up using a 24” pipe wrench…

Also, it helped with a lot of the vibration I was getting between 60-80mph. Odd.

I wish my trailer slid that easy!
It's impossible for me to do that on account of spread axles on the flatbed.
So when I get tight going forward or backwards my tires on the trailer turn in opposite directions, which could and can cause it to tip over especially when I have 40,000 lbs on it!
I give those box truck drivers alot of credit though for backing into things like that or worse, well the people that can actually do it anyway @mach1man001

First wash since before winter for both vehicles. First winter keeping my nice wheels on as well. Looks like my fancy wash and wax is keeping the wheels protected.

That's a beautiful truck. I've been considering removing the decals on mine for some time and installing a set of retro stripes in that color scheme. Every time I see one of these older rigs I get the itch again.

You are a better man than I. I'd be terrified about what the salt would do to those bolt heads. I thought you had dedicated snows?

I'm dragging mine out after lunch to go at it. I should clean the Jeep too despite the condition of the door.

I did. I had the stocks with st Maxx tires. I sold them as a set. Didn't want to bother with multiple sets. The price of these wheels is cheaper to buy new ones than to have a set powder coated. Maybe I replace them every 2 sets of tires or something. Next is 255/80R17. And I wanted them to wear out faster so I could get 33s sooner rather than later.

Yeah yeah. Take your logical reasons and...

The family room between my house and garage has a crawl space that's maybe 4' high so it's my perfect storage area for the overflow sets. I keep my summer truck and Vette tires in my cellar, but the Vette storage set, the old snows / SR5 steel wheels (in case the truck gets totaled) and my stock OR wheels sit under there along with 90% of my stock parts and overflow parts for the Vette. Hidden from view and no one is the wiser. I probably shouldn't have four sets for my truck, though, let's be real.
