    TRD, TIX
I am new to this site. I have owned Toyota 4X4's since the late 70's (FJ40, FJ55, Forerunner, FJ Cruiser, and just bought a Taco double cab TRD/TIX. So far, it is a blast to drive. I had the FJ Cruiser raised 6" by 4 Wheel Parts, and put on 35" tires . Some advise....don't raise the FJ six inches, and 35" tires rub on everything underneath! I wish 4-Wheel Parts had told me this, but hey, a buck in their register is better than an unhappy owner with a ruined vehicle. Moral of the story is 4WP will sell you anything.....do your homework....before modifying your vehicle!!!

So plan to modify much less with the taco. But them dang rocks seem to keep growing....and we MUST get over them! I am thinkin that 2.5' - 3" is the max I can lift without messin everything up. Any advise from others would be appreciated! Has anyone installed the rock rails from Rocky Mountain?

Not a bad conclusion. I'm not really big into lifting it up to the sky. But that doesn't mean I don't like to watch others do it. Welcome to the forum and congrats on the taco.
