Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Acid dipping body panels to reduce the weight on the Drag car.

Being able to cruise on the main streets of the larger towns with not really getting hassled unless you were really stupid.

When this was stopped the the inner cities really want down fast.

Wrinkle wall Drag tires on the street .

I had the lame safe Scholastic version that couldn't burn you since it was all chemical reaction based without heat (if spotty memory serves...)

I have seen a seagull puke, so I imagine it was bunk.

I remember when most Americans had no idea that yoghurt was anything more than sour milk.

In between reel-to-reel and the 8-track stereo there was the 2-track mono cartridge.

Nobody (except a garage) owned an air compressor, but everybody owned a bicycle pump.

Stealing Mom’s tin can of Johnson’s Baby Powder, to lube the inner tubes.

Trading books of S&H green stamps for an electric waffle iron that Mom hated to clean.

Watching the first moon landing on 10 TVs at once, at the nation’s second Target store (in Minnesota) when our 15” Zenith bit the dust.

Building long forks for my bicycle after watching Easy Rider.

Seeing tits in a movie theater, During Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet.

Watching Ivan Denisovich eat an eyeball at the movies.

Hey, we all get old. Shoot I had friends that would leave the keys in the truck and unlocked. Some of them still do. They live so far in the sticks and with the dogs around...they know when anyone is coming up the road.
