Heading to home depot for a ceiling fan, and maybe a garage door opener. I have no experience with garage door openers so cross your fingers

That’s what we got rid of. Our baby girl has a nicer closet than us now haha. Hanger rod will go in after paint. And thanks to IKEA for the $40 book case

If those are 3-tab shingles, your roofer did NOT install them correctly at all!

Redoing our 3 closets is next on my list. Are you going to put a rod under those shelves? I've got my dream closet (on a semi budget) already mapped out and ready to order from easyclosets.com once they're having a decent sale :spending:

They aren't 3 tab. They are architectural.

I didn't realize these were so comparable in pricing to a standalone unit. I think I need to add this to my to-do list.

I’ve run into a problem at my in laws’ place. Their garage door is not opening. I thought replacing the bent hinge would fix it, but it seems that the door panels are also bent. Here’s what it’s doing:

Any thoughts on a fix before we have to replace the whole door?

Something else is binding or out of adjustment Maybe? If you use the emergency disconnect it might help see if it moves ok?

Nope, the spring is fine. The hinge just goes from bending like it’s supposed to going flat and the door panels lock flat together. To get the door closed we have to push out in the hinge.

We did use the disconnect. That’s how we are getting it from closed to partially open but it won’t go any farther than you see in the photos. We have to push out on the hinge to get the door closed again.

New favourite tool at the moment ...

I'm trimming out my current client build and picked up one of the 'baby' versions of the FastCap Gluebot glue bottle , awesome little addition to my finishing kit . No run on from the nozzle so I don't have to worry about accidentally dripping glue all over myself and the job

I've already got a Meyer lemon, Kiefer pear, Gala apple, and Pink lady apple (all dwarf size), but really wanted an orange. I've been looking at pavers and I just so happened to stumble across a few orange tree varieties at Lowes last night. I got a semi dwarf Trovito orange and a dwarf Washington Navel Orange. Funny the Washington navel came from Nipomo, CA (central coast CA). I didn't think they grew there.

Today I went to HD twice (pavers were too heavy for one load in the Tacoma) and bought 2 more cedar planter barrels, a bunch of miracle grow moisture control potting soil, eight 3" swivel/locking casters, 2 pressure treated 2x4x10's, and a 90 pavers to separate my front yard from the neighbors on both sides who don't bother to make an effort on their property. I ripped the 2x4x10's down to 24" pieces for the planter dollies today, but will plant and lay the pavers tomorrow. Those things are heavy!

No problem. I guess "low end architectural" would be a good general description.
