I got my truck washed, a coat of V07 on it for some gloss and then some Opti-Seal for some protection. I also gave the wife's Jeep a quick wash, around the rekt door, of course.

I also installed the front part of the plug and play footwell lights. I'm super pleased with them.

I still need to set the PWM brightness as it's a bit too bright for daily use, although 2003 me absolutely loves it. The actual blue is a bit more neon rather than darker as it's shown in the photo. I also have the aqua bars if I want to more closely match the interior illumination, but I couldn't pass up the chance to be 2003 me for a little bit having watched a bit too much of the first and second Fast and Furious movies.

    EDIT:

    2003 me for reference.

It's a VLED kit, but it's fully plug and play.

Thanks! I need to tune it a bit, but I dig it!

That would actually be pretty cool to do.
Damn, that’s an old one. I’d honestly get an old one like that compared to the one I got.

Nice. I just bought a pack of red map lights and it was just as expensive for a pack of 10 as it was for 2. So I have 8 extra red map lights now and was thinking of doing this but probably won't.

That said. Y'all know the dome lights have two options? On, or on with map lights!? There's no "off" like wtf. I was planning to have the dome light stay white and it be off until if and when I needed it like setting up camp and whatnot. But nooooooo there's no damn OFF. So I have the red bulb for that coming in and I guess we're going all red.

I'm pretty sure I'm set on the one I want. I just need to put the pennies together for it.

Funny you mention that because I'm now going to be on the hunt for a clean used one or to repair mine, or metal one but none are the style I want. Slid into a parked car.... incredibly slowly.....

I couldn't remember the site, but I had seen that one before. I don't know if they'd adapt a retro style to a newer model, but it's not too important at this point, I ordered a set from the link I shared.

Ok, i have a random question for you guys.

Is Chevy getting a huge discount on black paint? It seems like 3 out of every 4 Silverados I see are painted black!
