it’s OK, this is a safe space..haha. I just picked up some CE28 SL for my ISF.
You can find pics of my cement taco with Volks in this thread. I had the 17” blast black 17” TE37XT, but now have the 16” -20 matte blue TE37x. I’m no longer a fan of the xt because of the engraving on the lip which I didn’t like after a while.

I see some are extending their studs and or using specific lug nuts for their build. For the TE37xt, is there a specific lug to use or what's recommend to use? For reference i have method wheels with the gorilla spine lug nuts, which i think wont work for the TE's?

Sheesh... Did your order custom paint? Care to share your specs? My matte blue took "only" 6 months.

Nothing custom - picked a set right off of their website. I expected a 5-8 month wait.
    Ordered from Vivid racing
    TE37XT M spec bronze -20

I have heard of multiple people ordering bronze (and other colored) TE37XT's in all offsets and getting them in 6-8 months. While Vivid Racing was good in their communication, they never answered my question as to why it took them so long when other vendors had the same or very similar wheels ordered and delivered in less time.

Yeah haven't heard much good from Vivid or Evasive. I stick to Showstoppers, System Motorsports, and ICB. I'm willing to bet they batch their orders so they save on shipping by filling a container. So if you were one of the first in a new batch, your order would take much longer. Works if you have brisk sales, but I'm guessing Vivid doesnt do much JDM selling? I dunno. Just a guess.

My thoughts as well - batched orders.
Vivid seems to have a decent online presence, and the reviews are mixed. Like I said, their communication was good in that they always responded, but skirted the question even though I did ask it in a very neutral, non-aggressive manner, basically like this: "This is not a complaint, I am aware that these wheels take time, but I am curious why other vendors have had these wheels delivered to their customers in significantly lower time frames?"
    Crickets on that...

I couldn't find solid info and hopefully this might help someone else. Coming off of Method wheel, the lug nuts for those don't work on the volks as they are the extended type nuts. Got some standard tapper spine nut but was not completely at peace I should say with how much stud it was actually holding on to. Pickup RAY 17 24pcs set from ICB, just got them in, thx @kpinthebay!

Boy...night and day between the two. I can get 6 full turns, hand tighten, vs the 4 to 4.5 of the other nut. The wheels are secure with these lug nuts but i was concern about wheeling with them. I feel a bit more confident now with the Rays lug nut.

Thx @msgs350 for your input too!
