Finally replaced the hazed, cracked and melted headlights. Makes the truck look like it’s 10 years newer. Also added some cheap ditch lights for those pesky high beam drivers

Finally got the wheels on the truck today after the lift went on last week. Went with Summit Dakars since the SCS SR8's were out of stock in bronze for 8+ months. Glad I went with them. Thought they'd be too light of bronze but it changes in every lighting. Glad the truck is finally done.

You replaced the MC in 2020 and now it is giving you trouble or you just replaced the 2020 MC with a new one? A couple of things come to mind. Any new MC must be bench bled prior to installation and you don't mention you did that. If this is not done you'll have nothing but air in the system problems. I'd pull the MC and bench bleed it for starters. Sometimes when people don't replace the MC but bleed the system for the purposes of fluid maintenance they use the brake pedal. If during this process the brake pedal moves way past its normal range and the MC is old the seals inside the MC can be damaged and start leaking or not holding pressure. If using the pedal to bleed a system on an old MC put a block of wood or something under the brake pedal to limit its range of motion to the normal sweep distance to avoid seal damage. Also check that your rear brakes are properly adjusted. If too much distance between shoes and drum you'll get similar problems. Rubber brake lines can deteriorate on the inside with age and effectively collapse down so fluid can't properly move through them even though they look ok on the outside. I don't know if your lines are ok or not.

I'd bet money on the master cylinder. The slow creep to the floor or going to the floor but building pressure after pumping brings back memories of every old car I've owned. I would go with the OEM.

I ordered the OEM, it's cheap insurance to pull it and remove that failure point from the equation.

The lines all looked ok but it's entirely possible I have a rubber expansion somewhere and I just don't see the evidence of it.

I bench bled it, it's part and parcel for replacement but thank you for checking. If swapping an OEM in doesn't work I hate the idea of swapping all the hydraulics lines because of the time consuming nature of it, but I will I guess.
