The military is great at wasting money. They won't notice a few missing.

Need a reliable transportation for cross country trips… I’m looking at adventure bikes. Honda Africa Twin, BMW R1200gs, Yamaha Super Tenere, and Suzuki V-Strom are the main ones I’m looking at.

Nice ones are completely out of the price range. Im not convinced on the long term reliability of Harley.

I also find it funny when people buy Fords and Chebbys made in Mexico in order to "buy american". When a lot of "import" cars are made in the US of A.

My dad bought a brand new r1250gs Adventure and wants to ride to Alaska. I’ve glanced at the adventure bike gear and it’s not cheap. Trying not to go full Ewan McGregor…

This is probably a stretch but I’m looking for a hankook dynapro ATM in the 285/75r16 flavor. I just need one. Can’t find them for sale anywhere as they were discontinued and replaced with the AT2

I'm starting to realize these earthquakes or at least the first one, slightly damaged my house. I have old school oak hard wood floors. I just had them redone a few years ago. Meaning they were sanded down and refinished. There's several boards around the house that aren't flush/flat with the surrounding boards anymore. They stick up very slightly.

Dang. May have been an over reaction, but I put earthquake insurance after the 4th one. No damage here that I see, but got sporty there for awhile…. We are on a full concrete basement. Is it something you can have re-sanded just to make them flush again?

have you measured the humidity in Yota house? Ours is an old 1948 farm house with the original hardwoods. In the winter when the house is 35-40% humidity the planks have gaps and tend to make more noise. In the summer humidity is 50-55% and I notice a bit of buckling in some spots.
