We can leave mine out at home when we away. They are fine. The summers here can get hot as well and Bostons WILL not stop playing in the heat LOL but they cool off in the pond or a baby pool we keep out in the Summer.

The Puggle still has to be crated as she will chew on the baseboards.... But she's only 6 months and still learning boundaries..

All females all get along pretty well. They do chew each other up pretty good when "playing" though....

    Aww...look at those cuties!!

I leave mine out also, they don't destroy anything either. I was leaving my boy out for a few hours when he was just a few months old, he's always been good. My rescue girl was crated in her foster home just in case, but she's been fine being out also. They get enough exercise that they don't get destructive or bored . My boy loves the heat, he'll lay out in the sun for hours in the summer. I just don't walk them or play hard during the heat of the day, we wait till the sun goes down. Both mine have lived in warm temps their entire lives so they handle higher temps than most, they don't like the cold (50's) though lol. My 2 can do some serious 'bitey face' with some wild noises too. Don't you love that they are buddies, cuddle and play so well together? Mine are definately best buds! If you ever need any BT info, there is a great forum called www.woofboard.com, check it out sometime ;).
Love your videos!! Tank plays with a kids bouncy ball like yours with the balloon, pick up one of those balls at the store and see how crazy yours gets lol. Here's a couple videos of mine.

HA yeah we tried those big balls but they end up in the pond. Even in Vegas 100 degree heat your dogs will chase that thing until they have a heart attack..... They don't know when to quit. How do they do at Doggy Park? One of ours iris more social than the other. Woofboard... Nice site.

I don't even know how to start this. My "little dog" Aspen (short for ass-pain), a dwarf Jack Russell, was just killed in the road. She was out with me while I was adding lights to my ARB bumper. Every 10 or 15 minutes I call to her to come back, she's kinda busy you know. Well she didn't come back, I yelled for a while, then noticed her in the road, not 25yrds from where I was working. She never goes in the road, if she does, she has to deal with me. I never wanted to have to pick a pet up out of the road. No one stopped, I heard no brakes...nothing. She was just laying there. Sorry for the ramble, it's hard to type through the tears.

Bye Aspen, you will be missed, I'm so sorry. HEARTBROKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some people... I was reading a thread (yesterday I think??) about some jerk at a CC that bumped in to a guy's Taco and took off...

Don't people have any decency anymore?? I remember when I was a kid my dad ran over a cat running across the street at night while dropping a friend off from soccer practice... he emptied a cardboard box from the truck, grabbed the shovel from the bed of the truck (is a landscaper) and gently put the cat in the box and took it to the owner's house... Apologized and everything - even offered to replace the cat if the owner so wished.

A week later, the friend shows up to soccer with a small thank you card from the owner... Owner was thanking my dad for being a decent person and owning up to what happened.

WTF is wrong with people these days.... Udy - if you should ever find out who ran Aspen over, i hope to hell you give em a swift kick to the head for me.

Thanks everyone, I never expected it to hurt like this. She was such a pain in the ass, hence the name Ass-pain(Aspen). But she did everything with me.

I don't think whoever hit her knew it. At least I hope not. The only vehicle that went by is a neighbor with a dually dodge. She waved on her way back through. A little white dog against the snow is a tough one.

She was my wife's little snuggle dog. My wife gets home soon, it's gonna be a rough night.

Thanks again for all your thoughts, it is so appreciated.

    Wow, what a heartache!!:(

Sorry to hear this. Nothing is easy about losing your little buddy. Both of my outside dogs died in the past year. Sounds like you gave him a good life and lots of love. Just know there's another little buddy out there that desperately needs someone like you. Again, sorry for you and your wife's loss.
