Not going thru that again. I'd have to move all the furniture into the sunroom and then stay in a motel for a week. Usually when they redo the floors they redo the whole house.

I haven't measured it. But it's been a few years since the floors have been redone. So we've been thru several summers and winters and never saw this before. It's not a huge issue just a minor annoyance.

Move to SC for cheaper taxes they said. The roads are better they said. Gas is cheaper they said.





but at least you don’t have the stupid annual vehicle inspections. I would move just for that.

 

Had those in PA. Swear they nitpick every little thing so they can charge you more.

Look real hard into that before you jump and go, man. Just my .02. I lived in CA in my 20's for a short while for work, and it wasn't great. I understand all the things I didn't enjoy have gotten way worse.

 

Basically i have to go where i can make the most money so i can stop working so hard.

Making 34K a year @ my current department aint gonna cut it when i can make 50k-100K elsewhere. It's not that straightforward but ultimately living right below my means treading water. It takes years to even build up enough to do something nice for myself or my wife lol. The wages here are just stagnant, everything is going up except wages. You gotta be a mercenary at this point. Find somewhere you enjoy working that will pay you the most for your time.

I have no desire to live in CA, that place sucks balls i hear. I hear alot of stuff about all these places but ultimately cash runs the world. If you dont make enough then the world says "work more hours" fuck that. If i can work smarter and still make more money than thats a good thing.
