So I pulled out an 18 wheeler today!

So a truck was trying to back from my work parking lot back into the drive across the street. He somehow managed to semi jackknife it and drive the tractor into the snowbank/ditch and get stuck.

I pulled the truck around, hooked my 30'000lb strap on, dropped it into 4L and locked the diff. A few very light tugs and some scratching for traction on the hard packed snow and out he came.

Since our Tacomas are only rated to tow up to 6500 lbs, couldn't you potentially damage or break some part of your drivetrain pulling that much weight?

 

Doubt it. He would of spun before breaking anything.

there's an auto supply store up here that has light grey ones with yellow ends. they are less expensive
